We partner with a third party company called RecallAlert For Life® and we use the RecallAlert App when performing the RecallAlert For Life® Appliance Inspection when at the property. This inspection is only for residential properties and is available in addition to the residential home inspection service for an additional service fee to all residential home inspection clients; or can be performed as a stand alone inspection service.

This invaluable service checks all major appliances for manufacturer recalls, and provides lifetime monitoring via email to protect our clients from dangerous conditions.

RecallAlert for Life® is an internet/app based service that uses sophisticated Optical Recognition Software (ORS) to scan all major appliances within your home. This is accomplished via a simple photo taken of the appliance manufacturers information plate by the inspector that provides the model and serial number information.

RecallAlert for Life® then scans through 100’s of millions of data points to determine whether any of the major appliances pose a serious fire, and or safety risk.

Appliance manufacturers must make repairs/replacements FREE of charge!

If a potential recall is ever located, RecallAlert for Life® issues a report directly to the client.

This report includes:
A. The reason for the recall.
B. Location(s) the product was sold.
C. How to have the item repaired/replaced for FREE
